Diana Adams is an active member of the Brooklyn Bar Association, and an avid pro bono volunteer with the Brooklyn Bar Associations Volunteer Lawyers Project (VLP) in their programming for domestic violence victims, the elderly, and debtors being sued by their creditors. Ms Adams has received annual commendations for her pro bono work from the Brooklyn Bar VLP and New York State Empire Counsel.

Diana Adams is an attorney with an unparalleled Ivy League education and experience in family law practice. After majoring in Political Science at Yale University, focusing on women's issues and antipoverty work, Ms Adams attended Cornell Law School. At Cornell Law, Ms Adams specialized in feminist legal theory and progressive policy, and was a leader at the Law School Legal Aid Clinic, where Ms Adams represented clients who could not afford an attorney in domestic violence and divorce cases and was advisor to other students who represented clients. Upon her graduation from Cornell Law, Ms Adams received multiple awards for her dedication to civil rights and public service, including Most Promising Female Law Graduate from Cornell Law by the National Association of Women Lawyers and a national commendation for her dedicated service to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender legal rights.
After law school, Ms. Adams did welfare policy work for the New York City Human Resources Administration, where she gained expert knowledge of the New York City public benefits system. Later, Ms. Adams was the Staff Attorney and Pro Bono Coordinator for the Brooklyn Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers Project, where she represented indigent Brooklyn residents in child custody, child support, divorce, domestic violence and Civil Court debt collection cases, supervised hundreds of other attorneys' cases, and trained other attorneys in how to handle child custody, divorce, and child support cases. This position created the wealth of experiences and contacts within the legal community sufficient to support Ms Adams in starting her own innovative solo practice firm.
