Qualifications:

Lee is an accredited Mediator, having been trained by Steve Hancox on behalf of Align Mediation in Civil/Commercial Mediation and was also trained in Workplace Mediation by Steve Hindmarsh Ltd.

Experience:

Lee has worked in the legal costs field for nearly 20 years, starting at the bottom as an administration assistant, then quickly working his way up to admin and IT manager, where he designed databases to help improve negotiation performance, progressing into costs negotiating and drafting in 2001, before ultimately, in 2007, owning his own costs drafting company. Lee now works for Paramount Legal Costs in Carlisle, where he has helped to expand the business and help it go from strength to strength.

During his time as a costs draftsman, Lee has worked on behalf of both claimants and defendants, dealing with all types of claims and actions, which has given him an invaluable insight into the pros and cons of the litigation process, and has attended detailed assessment hearings across the country, including in the Senior Court Costs Office in London.
